General introduction

Deep Work (2016) addresses the challenge of maintaining deep concentration in our tech-saturated era. Many of us easily succumb to distractions, especially from social media. Newport suggests that focus isn't just an innate ability, but rather a skill we can hone. By treating focus as a muscle to be strengthened, we can elevate our work quality and productivity.
