About the author

Jonathan Haidt is a social psychologist and the Thomas Cooley Professor of Ethical Leadership at NYU's Stern School of Business. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania and conducted post-doctoral research at the University of Chicago and in India. Haidt, author of influential books like The Righteous Mind and The Coddling of the American Mind, was named a top global thinker by Foreign Policy and Prospect magazines. He taught at the University of Virginia for 16 years before joining NYU-Stern in 2011.
